A Reflection from Fr. Kalombo

A Thanksgiving Day Message

Dear Parishioners and Friends of Saints Joseph and Paul,
Thanksgiving is a day of tradition – stuffed turkey, family get together, and renewing friendships. It is a day when communities gather together in prayer to express their sentiments of being thankful.  On the vigil of Thanksgiving Day I would like to express my personal gratitude and thanksgiving to God and to You, my beloved Parishioners and Friends.  In marking this holiday, I thank God for the honor He has given me to be your priest. I express my deep gratitude to the men and women, boys and girls of our parish for your genuine expression of faith in God and love for the Church. Truly, for the generous spirit of so many fine people  in our parish family. Thank you, dear Parishioners, for your most beautiful gift of God – your dedication and presence in our church. Without your presence and generosity our
church does not exist. I am profoundly thankful. We have so much to be grateful. Let us see Jesus in each other and specially in those who are in need. May this thanksgiving Day of 2018 be an occasion in which we give thanks to God for His care for us and ask Him the grace to help others in need in the name of Christ.
Walking with you in spirit of gratitude and praying for you daily, I remain sincerely in the Lord.
