“Church Principal” Debbie Luedke Retires April 7th

Sts Joseph and Paul Sunday Matters Minister, Debbie Luedke has announced her retirement effective April 7th. Debbie has been a member of Sts. Joseph and Paul for fifteen years and is looking forward to being with us as a “regular” parishioner here for many years to come! Debbie began serving as a volunteer and her many ministries included: Vacation Bible School Coordinator, Block Party Chair, Faith Formation catechist, Young at Heart leader, liturgical coordinator, Eucharistic minister, sacristan, altar server and the list continues.

As a staff member for the past 10 years, Debbie has recorded and maintained all sacramental records, conducted baptismal prep classes, helped facilitate annulments, manage the ministry schedule, trained ministers, coordinated funeral and wedding ministers, procured all supplies needed for liturgies, and managed an additional list of “other duties as assigned”.

Debbie has lived and breathed Sts. Joseph and Paul and her love and passion for her job shows. She loves planning the liturgy and making sure that our weekend Masses flow and run smoothly. Having a liturgy that is well planned and prayerfully put together allows parishioners to draw closer to Christ. Debbie loves seeing families and children enjoying Mass and fellowship with other parishioners.

After a few weeks of vacation, Debbie will be spending her free time doing yard work, painting, and playing with her sweet dog, Minnie. We will miss you dearly Debbie! Peace and Blessings on your retirement!

Join us for coffee & donuts in our Parish Hall to celebrate Debbie’s retirement Sunday, April 14th after 10am Mass
