Gasper River Catholic
Youth Camp and Retreat Center
We are a ministry of the Roman
Catholic Diocese of Owensboro. Our 168 acre facility is located on the
Gasper River just 8 miles Northwest of Bowling Green. Our goal is to bring
people here, have them learn and grow in their faith and then take what
they have learned back to their communities to put into practice.
Catholic
Heart Work Camp
Our
Mission is Twofold.....
First: To share the love of Jesus and serve the neglected, brokenhearted
and marginalized in any way needed. The Catholic HEART Workcamp mission
is to revitalize communities and beautify homes for the elderly, disabled
and those who cannot afford needed repairs. Our goal is to inspire
participants to serve in their local communities.
Second: To empower participants to live as disciples of Christ through
serving others. To foster the spiritual growth of each participant
through the sacraments, Catholic faith sharing and prayer.

Camp
L.I.F.E.
Camp
L.I.F.E. is a week-long experience for incoming freshmen through
just graduated seniors. Every day of Camp LIFE is an adventure involving
body, mind, and spirit. Each day is balanced with time for reflection and
prayer and time to explore community and its relationship to our faith.
Christian
Leadership Institute
CLI (Christian Leadership Institute) is a
week long leadership training experience for those who have completed at
least their freshman year of high school through just graduated seniors.
It has been a very life changing experience for many who have attended
in the past, to discover the many gifts that God has given them and
encourage them to use them in their parishes, schools and communities.
One Bread, One Cup
At Saint Meinrad Archabbey & School of
Theology, we believe young Catholics are members of Christ's Body – with
unique gifts needed by the Church. When you offer these gifts for God's
service, it is ministry. We invite you to give yourself to the Church's
tradition of prayer, faith and service. Begin now by checking out our
programs on this Web site.
