- Director of Maintenance
I was born in Cleveland, Ohio and moved to Owensboro when I was six weeks old and have been here ever since. My wife, Becky, and I were married in 1972 and have two kids and six grandkids to show for it. I was with Wholesale Bakery for 40 years starting out as an Extra Man and worked my way up the ladder to be an Account Executive. In that role I worked with some of our biggest and food markets in the area, like Kroger and Wal-Mart and some of our local independently owned stores. I was fortunate to build some great relationships with the owners and managers of those stores which have be a great help in my ministry here at Sts. Joseph & Paul. For a time I also worked extensively with a grocery store owner that did much of his own building, remodeling, and maintenance work; through which I learned a great deal and have been able to bring that with me here.
In 2010 I joined the Catholic Church officially, since I had already been attending Sts. Joseph & Paul for the previous 12 years. I have worked with the Block Party from the start and I enjoy getting things together for that event every year. I also like working with our amazing volunteers, it’s so great to have people that we can call on to help keep our parish looking great.
